Old Railway Line

A wee walk along the Old Railway Line now a cycleway & walking route from just outside Dunblane to Doune.

Passed the Motocross Track which has a resident heron which I saw flying off.

Stopped at this seat overlooking the path and fields for our flask & munch. Friendly robin here if had any seed crumbs left. Good spot to wave to folk walking / cycling past.

Didn’t see any red squirrels today but saw plenty of wee birds berry picking along the trees either side of the path and lots of chirping.

Went as far as the allotments, which we had a look at then walked back to car. Liked the allotment sign.

Lunch then driven back to Edinburgh with car full of food for the week & some lovely sweet peas from the garden.

Pretty tired tonight so think an early night.
