Owing me, owing you

Nice lie in this morning.

Did a morning of reading.

After lunch I headed to London on the train. I'm working in London for 3 days next week and I've also got to be in Leicester tomorrow. So I thought I'd let the train take the strain, which meant a Sunday trip. 

Quiet you would think? Well, all was well up to Cardiff and then the platform was absolutely rammed and everyone got on the train, so then it was only standing room on the train all the way through to Paddington. In my opinion it was unsafe and there should have been better control on the platform in allowing people onto the train.

I was desperate to use the toilet between Swindon and Reading. It was like the Krypton Factor trying to get there, over bodies, cases, babies and dogs. Lol!

With all these problems we were almost half an hour late getting into Paddington. So, Great Western Railway owe me again. As one of my friends suggested, they ought to set up a direct debit to me the amount of times they pay me back. Lol!

And then to top it all, a night in the new hotel whose restaurant has gone kaput so there is no food there.

You have to laugh.

Today I am thankful for:

2.  A day of reading
3.  A seat on the train. Lol!
