AFL at MCG

Australian Football League at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Odd, I know, on quite a few accounts.  We were given some AFL tickets so whilst K rested in her new room-without-a-view, we went along to watch the game.  Ended up being very confused by what was going on on the field, feeling very cold and underwhelmed by the [virtually] empty MCG atmosphere so cut out at the end of the first quarter and headed back 'home'.

K is growing in strength every day which is awesome.  She's had a couple of uncomfortable nights which they're trying to sort...... it's a totally new environment.... not the same 1:1 care as ICU and with machinery beeping at all hours it can be a bit frustrating. All heading in right direction though and it was lovely to see K take her first 'new-life' steps yesterday.
