As you've never seen him! The statue is outside the Isle of Wight's Dimbola Lodge - the former residence of a 19th century pioneering woman photographer Julia Cameron. Its worth following the link. I'd never heard of her but her photographs weren't the usual stiff Victorian images. One or two of them could have been in a current glossy without anyone being any the wiser.

Quite why there's a statue of Hendrix outside the House I can't remember but needless to say, his accessories are a more recent addition to the statue & make it very funny indeed. He's been subject to what the North Americans call 'yarn bombing' and we call 'guerilla knitting'.
