Early Morning Ponies at Morston
A and I walked from Morston Quay to Blakeney this morning. These beautiful ponies were enjoying the early morning sunshine. There was some sailing lessons going on and we watched them getting ready to sail off towards Blakeney Point (see extra).
The other extra shows grass cutting in full swing on the Coastal Path. These remote controlled mowers can cut grass on slopes that are too steep for a sit-on mower. The operators were very polite and stopped the machine whenever walkers were passing. As did the friendly operative using his strimmer. Very cheerful chaps considering that they probably wanted to get the job done and had to keep pausing. Mind you...if your job is to cut grass there are plenty of worse places and weather than the sparkling morning we enjoyed today.
