An siathamh latha deug
Today we departed Dungloe for Coleraine, stopping in Derry en-route. We walked along the City Walls and then over the Peace Bridge and along the side of the Foyle.
It was interesting viewing the city from the walls and getting a sense of its history old and new including references to more recent popular culture. I was looking for the Derry Girls one and the Undertones one was an unexpected bonus.
We also stopped on Downhill Beach - literally as you park on the beach itself where I enjoyed a very quick dip or rather standing in shallow water getting knocked over by waves.
