The lovely Ma Booknerd-Rocknerd was 90 yesterday and the ‘Nerds had a special day together, culminating in a Zoom call with friends and family in Canada, Italy and various parts of the UK, followed by pizza and prosecco.

The celebrations continued today with afternoon tea - and birthday cake - at one of Ma’s favourite local tea rooms, as seen in this lovely photograph by Rocknerd https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3289728183783393644, where she was joined by about 30 more friends and family members. A good time was had by all!

She’s a special (and stylish!) mother and it was a real treat to spend a few days with her and for her to see how loved she is.
