Time for a Trip to the Tip

My wife and I have been doing some autumnal clearing in the garden and at the allotment resulting in four full bags ready for taking to the tip. In the afternoon I went with my daughter, Jen, to see the film, Lee, at the cinema. An excellent film that, from what I know, gave a pretty accurate account of her artistic background and her experience as a  reportage photographer in the Second World War. Kate Winslett impressed in the lead role as did Andy Samberg as the Life photographer, David Scherman. Jen told me that Samberg is better known as a comedy actor but he  clearly had no problem turning his hand to a dramatic role. All that remains now is to visit the Lee Miller archive at her former home, Farleys, in Chiddingly, East Sussex. It opens 3 days a week from April to October so we'd better get a move on.
