Monarch

Today’s the day, hubby should be home in a few hours. I decided to really clean house so we could enjoy tomorrow. My to do list was lengthy but I somehow got to cross off each task. I washed the kitchen windows, vacuumed and scrubbed floors, dusted, put away anything that was out of place, etc. Everything is sparkling for his return. I chatted with my mother while having breakfast on the front porch; these autumn days are spoiling me, perfect temps and the slightest breeze. I filled the feeders and topped off the fountains. Had a white portulaca bloom for today’s blip but when I rounded the corner of the garage, there were two monarchs enjoying the tall asters. I couldn’t resist getting a photo. It was time to clean the refrigerator. I still had containers with a taste of this or a dab of that. The feral kitties will have a feast. I washed up the mess and it was time for lunch, prayers and a nap. I could fall asleep feeling very satisfied with my accomplishments. Wishing you a day of satisfaction. Stay safe.
