Warm woodpigeon
Junior parkrun marshaling meant seeing A and C for the first time in ages. A chance to catch up on how he is getting on with his Apprentice internship at the hospital. CRB has slowed the start, but he is looking forward to starting. Marshaling was enjoyable, a bit cold, but lots of lovely youngsters all trying their best. One little girl, red in the face with effort, had brought along mum, dad and baby brother in pram. They all did the parkrun with her and loved it.
After parkrun G and I popped to the Co-op for bacon and spotted the woodpigeon in the blip.
After breakfast and putting washing on the line, we played a board game of Traitors. A great time. D, was Traitor, easy to guess but great fun. It included a round to overfill a glass with water - who knew so much water fitted into a glass.
Chicken curry for tea, then farewell to Cno 1, N and D as they drove home to Hull.
Another lovely day.
