Family party

My great aunt died several years ago, but her tradition of a big family party in July lives on. There were 24 of us ranging in age from 3 to 93 today. A Carpenter family party always includes lots of good food, lots of laughter and plenty of silly games. I have missed out on the last few so it was great to see several of the Carpenters today. The little ones spent the entire day splashing around in my parents' hot tub and there was plenty of rounders and cricket going on to keep everyone else entertained. A brilliant day.
