Architecture

While walking to the charity shop this morning, I stopped to look at and to blip this particular part of Bath Street in Portobello. I like the three very differing architectural styles, Georgian, modern and Victorian, which I think, quite weirdly, seem to sit rather nicely together. 

I remember many many years ago when I was at school, one of my Geography teachers said, to take time to look at the buildings around you and remember to look above eye level, as some of the most interesting parts of buildings are there. He said to stop rushing and take time to appreciate, enjoy time! 

Anyway, I had a lovely time walking along the street as well as a fun time in the shop. 

It’s what’s life is about for me now  … enjoyment and hopefully, being kind.
