North up the M1, north west on M6, continue north west on M54 and on to smaller roads winding through valleys,  towns and villages until we crossed the border and into Wales.    Cymru is our home for the next few days and specifically the small town of Machynlleth (pronounced muh kuhnth leth) in mid Wales about 25 miles inland from the coast.  Bad weather has been forecast but we have seen very little with sunny, if slightly cooler days.  Today we drove up the coast to Barmouth taking advantage of a tiny toll bridge to miss some miles.  The bridge in the photo runs from the small town of Fairbourne  to Barmouth, it is for trains.
