Slept better last night.

Cleaned the cooker hob and kitchen sink.  Always pleasant to see the shine.

Next door are having a new fence which separates our driveways.  It's a noisy, smelly process involving three workmen.   So far it's the second day of work and only vertical posts have been put up.

Years ago we had a new fence installed by one man at the back of our garden.   It was completed in a day and is still standing at least a decade later.

To escape the drilling and petrol engines the hound and i have had two long walks.  It's felt like summer today, comfortably walking without sleeves topping up vitamin D.

Made a veggie chilli with black beans for dinner.
