Mandevilla Blossom

Hubby got home around 11:00 pm. It was 6:00 am “his time”. He gave me the highlights of the trip. He couldn’t find his hearing aids charger and decided it must have been left in his last hotel room. But he completely unpacked everything while trying to find it. He was so excited to share his photos and new learned history. We were awake until after 4:00 am. Then I had to read just to unwind. We slept until 8:00; the sound of an income message woke me up. He remembered where the charger might be and jumped out of bed. He was a happy boy and $200+ richer since he did not have to replace it. We washed three loads of laundry. I cleaned a lot of debris from the front garden. Hubby cut grass while I went to Jamie’s so I could sign for Abby’s new driver’s license. They arrived at the same time Renee returned with her kitty from the vet. Jamie has many potted mandevilla plants. I may have blipped them before. I am dragging today so hope you don’t mind if it is a duplicate. They are stunning I think. I called Momma to get her grocery list. We will go down later to pick up the camper and take her a few things. Hubby is taking it to the dealer tomorrow for its annual maintenance. I am hoping we can stop at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. It’s been awhile. Praying for those folks who live in Florida. It will come ashore very close to the town where my parents wintered for many years. They had one bad flood while they owned a home there. It ruined the furniture and destroyed all my parents’ photo albums. They were in Maryland at the time. They had interior damage also. My heart breaks for all the victims. Hope your weather is as nice as ours at the moment. Thanks for visiting. “A flower’s appeal is in its contradictions — so delicate in form yet strong in fragrance, so small in size yet big in beauty, so short in life yet long on effect.”– Terri Guillemets
