Fire and Water

Thinking of my sister and family (and many others) in the path of Hurricane Milton - they live in Lakeland.

This is the top of one of our fig trees, and São Sebastão Chapel silhouetted against a few moments of a dramatic sky tonight.

Morning spent taking a very ill Dutch guy and his Filipino wife to hospital in Évora and translating for them; have to go back for more tests on Friday. Afternoon spent sorting out an article with an American colleague in Indiana.
