Someone is feeling better
Hopefully it will last.
Thankfully there's been a return to something like normal in the last thirty-six hours. Today Meg came up to Abergynolwyn with me for a little while, where I was able to keep an eye on her and confirm my impression that she was well on the mend. C came to pick her up and run her back to mine before lunchtime and I got an enthusiastic welcome on my return a few hours later.
It was the quietest day that I can remember at Aber Cafe today. Even the lunchtime rush was .... well not a rush. The afternoon train brought just two passengers. Maybe it's the often cold and sometimes miserable weather, maybe it's the tightening of purse strings. It's certainly the case that visitor numbers are down both here and more widely in the area.
After work Meg and I popped in to see Chris before tea and being Tuesday it was a singing evening. A happy and largely very tuneful ninety minutes. Early start tomorrow, so early to bed tonight.
