Downtown Nashville
Today we had two tours, firstly RCA Studio B where Elvis recorded a lot of his early hits,
followed by a tour of the Country Music hall of fame…… full of fabulous memorabilia, costumes, film footage from way back when through to the current day, Patsy Cline to Taylor Swift, Hank Williams to Luke Combs.
C got to sit at the steinway piano that has featured on pretty much every recording ever made there!
After our Studio B tour we spent ages wandering the store at the Myseum, so many tee shirts, gifts etc and a selection of Gretsch guitars…….C sold his recently…… these new ones started at $3,500!! The guy got chatting to C, asked if he played, he said yes. The assistant asked if he wanted to play one, he said choose one & we’ll hook you up……… C said he’d go back after our Museum tour.
When we went back, we made several purchases but C didn’t want to play the Gretsch, said he didn’t trust himself not to get his credit card out……. tried to persuade him to play, but he wouldn’t, so I don’t have that photo :-(
So today’s blip is the blue hour as we were walking back onto Broadway for the evening, i liked how the buildings were reflected in the gorgeous light.
I shared this on instagram & had a request from a tennessee advertising agency asking if id share the image with them :-)
