It’s Country y’all

We drove the 212 miles from Memphis to Nashville for the last leg of our trip.

Our hotel was on Music Row, about 15/20 mins walk to where it was all happening on Broadway.

Todays blip is where we spent a good while listening to these “guys” playing the old style honky tonk country music, including a steel guitar.

C spotted the bar, called Robert’s, said to me i’ve got an album that was recorded at Robert’s in Nashville…… spoke to the guy on the door & sure enough this was the very place, he hadn’t appreciated it was a “real bar”!!

Nashville is a big cosmopolitan city, C was very surprised, me not so much. I think he was expecting more cowboys and country roads of old ;-)
