Fridge ice

I was up at 6:30am to be ready in case the engineer coming to look at the fridge turned up at 7:15am (the earliest point they could have done). By 7:15 am, PY left, and I thought I'd been interrupted during one of my many work calls. But, as I closed the door, I received a message that Dave would arrive within half an hour.

He was friendly and diagnosed the thermostat fault within a moment of opening the fridge door. I wonder why it's impossible to ask me questions when booking an engineer and coming to the same conclusion based on what I tell them, as it obviously can be done from a visual check. Nonetheless, the appropriate parts to fix the problem have been ordered, and another date has been agreed to fit them. So, all our food won't freeze!

I went to the gym in the evening. I found it hard to do less than I did yesterday morning. Sitting around all day eating poorly does not put me in a good way to exercise.

When I returned, we heated some of the vegetable chilli I made yesterday evening and watched the final Celebrity Race Across the World. We're both disappointed that it's over because it's been great to watch, the scenery reigniting my desire to travel to South America at some point.
