Festive

I didn't do my morning walk today because I decided to go to the gym first thing and see what that is like. I have been terrible with my walking habit this year, and the onset of winter will not encourage me to go out more often. I thought it might be interesting to see how busy the gym is in the morning. It was definitely buzzier than some evenings, but it wasn't overcrowded. I don't think I am starting a habit yet.

I feel like I am moving into the final stages of planning for the remainder of the automated targeting that we need to do. I spoke with Alex and Michael about the location-based things, and they will go ahead as I imagined.

This year's Next voucher expires at the end of the month. We aimed to keep it in case we needed big purchases, but we haven't needed anything. I wanted a new short-sleeved shirt for the holiday, and tonight, we walked to the New Malden branch to look at what they had. In the end, I found a shirt in the sale (so not valid for the voucher), but we did come away with a few things, including some new cushions. When we entered the shop, we looked around the homeware section, where a surprisingly large selection of Christmas decorations (including trees) was ready to buy.

Afterwards, we discovered the walking route - via the underpass - to the large Tesco superstore.
