This picture shows one of the coastguard dinghies just after the dramatic rescue of a large white husky dog which had got stuck in the sinking sand some way out, just as the tide was coming in!
A yellow helicopter circled overhead, two fire engines and a police car were parked on the road, and a very muddy looking dog was lucky enough to be walking away with its very muddy owner!
