Quite a headwindy ride into town this morning on Miss Mirabel the Green Bike, playing leapfrog with four buses all following each other, and I arrived at the office just a little bit steaming hot, but was early enough to cool down and get changed before my first meeting.

I don't parade around the place in trackies and old t-shirts or anything, but it's nice to dress up a bit sometimes, especially when meeting guests, so wore my floaty black flowery skirt and, er, a plain black top.  It contrasted nicely with my hair, though, and a colleague complimented me on it in a meeting later on.

Nice chat over lunchtime with Random Colleague who is slightly less random now, and then it was back to the grind, spinning almost too many plates.  I ended up finishing a bit late but had a good ride home with an actual tail wind, so despite hauling two whole panniers plus my waterproof that I didn't need, I monstered my way out of town and was home in almost exactly the same amount of time that the ride in took.
