Sycamore leaves
I had decided yesterday not to walk with the group today. The walk was 7 miles and the forecast was iffy.
It was very windy and wet first thing, but the rain died away.
I called to see Margret to help her send an email with silent copies. We tried over the phone, but her email programme is different from mine, so I needed to see it.
Liz called and it was lovely to catch up with her. She has had lots of visitors and time away and more time as a role player, so I was glad she had time to fit me in!
Then I went to Acomb woods for a potter with a camera. It was very dark in the woods, but I liked the light coming through the leaves. I spotted these sycamore leaves, nearly ready to fall, and I liked the patterns on them.
I have finished sewing up the slipover that was bothering me. I'm going to make a pompom for yesterday's hat, going with the majority! It's many years since I made one.
Tonight there is Slow Horses and the Chelsea Detective. Spoilt for choice.
