One of my first outings as a new resident of the city, besides popping to the WmLow which is now the Tesco and the Capital which was then a Farmfoods but is now Specsavers, was to the big Menzies on Princes Street, where I bought the up-to-date 1992 version of the Bartholomew Streetfinder, which lived on kitchen walls for two years until it was stolen by a random backpacking Australian a flatmate brought home, who left his much shabbier copy in its place. Looking at the photo of it, I wonder if it took me so long to discover the Innocent as it was obscured by the big red boundary line marking.
