Soaking

I found a bottle of brandy in a cupboard and we’d already bought extra currants so I just thought I’d get the cake started. After all, it’s only 13 weeks till Christmas. Sorry about that!
Dave called off from golf this morning so I was at a bit of a loose end and just kind of moped about for a while. Must be the weather getting me down.
But it’s Wednesday, S is back teaching her classes, so time to re-start our ‘pubs with grub near the Pleasance’ sessions. And tonight we revisited The Abbey: pretty quiet, Deuchars on draught, great food, excellent! A good, impromptu choice to get the new season off and running.
Home now and about to watch the final episode of Bad Monkey. Very timely too weatherwise!
