My little Sailor

Tobes was very spoilt today and had a very special day out on Grandad's boat. He's been so excited all week and pretending that the sofa is a boat and the rug is the river!

He has a toy boat in his bath, which has a table laid with tea cups and chocolate cake so he believes that all boats have chocolate cake. Apparently the first thing he asked when he got on board was 'where is the chocolate cake?!'. He had a fantastic time and was captain all day and wouldn't let Mr EG or Grandad steer the boat at all! Unfortunately Saffron is moored a bit too far out so I didn't manage to get photos of him on board and Mr EG forgot to take any so just this one of him on shore.

We had lunch in the clubhouse and then headed back to play in the garden. I stayed up to wave Mr EG off on the Dunwich Dynamo bike race. It passes near by so he and Dave joined it and cycled to the coast and then back again. 138 miles in total through the middle of the night. They left at 11.30pm and got back just before midday. Crazy!
