W-I-D-E on Wednesday: Modern or Recent

A busy day of travelling, first a flight from Newcastle to London Heathrow then an onward flight to Montreal where we're now safely in our hotel here for 3 nights.

Steveng is hosting the Widwed challenge again this week, and I thought that this modern type of architecture (which must be pretty recent) in Terminal 2 would suit the theme. I thought it looked better in Mono (which some modern photographers seem to have returned to recently!).

When I put the photo onto my laptop I realised that I'd included the two bottles of water which I was carrying at the time and which I'd popped down on the floor while I took the photo. The habit of carrying a bottle of two of water everywhere seems to have become a relatively recent modern trend so I decided not to clone them out. (Note to the environmentally aware: they'd been refilled from a tap, not bought new!)
