Autumn walk

A glorious autumn day for our recce of a walk we are doing for the Pudsey Ramblers at the beginning of November.

We started out at Judy Woods, Wyke, Bradford, but after walking through the woods to Norwood Green we took a different route.
One we haven‘t done before, which followed Coley Beck, crossed it twice and took us up to Shelf, Bradford, before winding back to Norwood Green, and where we started from.

The woods are beginning to get their autumn colours and with the sun shining through looked beautiful. Lovely to hear the noise of the water as it tumbled down over the waterfalls.
I hope the weather will be as good when we do this walk next time. Fingers crossed.

Extra photo of all the different  fungi we saw.

PS.
What a great treat we had at breakfast time.
On a webcam we were able to see our granddaughter, Hannah and James , standing on Juliet’s Balcony in Verona.and seconds later a photo popped up on my phone.
Now that is one of the miracles of technology I enjoy!
See second extra.
