What a Classic

As I parked in Hebden Bridge this morning I spotted this 1965 Sunbeam Rapier in a queue approching the traffic lights.  Switch on camera, wind down window, grab a shot...... worked out better than I had hoped.
The Sunbeam Rapier (what a good name compared to today's nomenclature) was a car I aspired to in the late 50's early 60's but never owned.  It was a quality sporting coupe built with pride by the Rootes Motor Group - before Chrysler came along and cut the heart out of the products .....
