Today's the day .................... to feel bad

The recent hurricanes and tornados that have battered the Florida coastline, causing so much damage and even loss of life - have put our weather into perspective.  

The television coverage today, showing such scenes of destruction have made me feel very bad about moaning on (as I have been!) about a bit of rain and lack of sunshine.  It was however, still rather a shock to find that the Met Office were expecting 'Hurricane force winds'  in Tongland throughout the day (see extra).  It was much the same throughout the entire country apparently - and thankfully just a 'data error' at the BBC.  They've been apologising all day!

Meanwhile, the day here has been cold but lovely - and there is still plenty of colour and flowers blooming in the garden ...........................
