Well Laid

Congratulations to the husband who remembered the napkins without being reminded. Here for the guests after arrival: Bengt, Florence and Ersin, and Heather, six or so nationalities between us.

This a quick grabbed phone photo as Mike went out to greet them at the gate. Happy that the weather was perfect for sitting outside, as the other room is in upheaval, and it would certainly have been cosy in our main room.

Gratefuls:
- while we were eating, news that my sister and family in Florida are all OK, though "carnage in our street", trees blocking road, and no power - they have solar lantern and fan
- guests seemingly enjoying food and conversation, sent them home with doggy bags
- a gorgeous hand crocheted bag for my phone, from Florence
