In spite of a dreary forecast we had a mostly sunny day.
It was lovely!
Missy & I walked around the Matakauri Wetlands with a friend ,and then picked up my new lightweight tramping/trail boots. I tried wearing them briefly this afternoon and am very pleased with them. I’ve got narrow feet and it’s great being able to lace them a tad tighter over the top of my foot. I think they call it Alpine lacing.
I tried taking a photo of them from the swing bridge with the Arrow River below - Extras. You might be able to make sense of it!
