….. ….. ….. Squared! Some of us that use Tobins Track call this rock Square Rock, although it obviously isn’t square!

We had two inspiring speakers visiting us at Village this morning. One was Adam Hall, who is a Kiwi ParaOlympian and World Cup prestigious Alpine skier, winner of many awards, including double golds. With him was his wife Alista, who is also disabled physically and is a downhill Alpine skier. Their attitudes towards disabilities are remarkable and they had us enthralled, telling us about their respective backgrounds and ways of coping. Truly remarkable. I was amazed at how two such challenged people could hold a large crowd’s absorbed attention for over an hour. I’m sure we all came away also challenged and inspired. Adam has been awarded the MNZM for his contributions to ParaSkiing in New Zealand.
