Dog day

Swam in the morning and then sat through the front as it was lighter. Did a lot but some of wasn't what I'd intended to do.  Ended up doing some work before an important Apex meeting.

More meetings in the afternoon and then a Board meeting that ended early due to the earlier meeting.  I felt at a bit of a loose end so I took lamp 2 out of the box and photographed it so I can put lamp 1 back in its box.

Out in the cold to Greenside and nearly fell asleep on the bus down the road. The traffic jam at the top of Leith Walk was unbelievable.  How have the traffic planners managed to make such a mess of it?  Stationery traffic all the way back up to Princes St and from the looks of it, half way down Leith Walk.

Luckily the nice Toppings people at Greenside Church let us in out of the cold before 7.  The event was Rory Cellan-Jones (former blipper) talking about his book on a year with his rescue dog, Sophie from Romania.  I think everyone in that audience had followed the story on social media.  Sophie wasn't there but Si the dog behaviourist who helped was and that was a fascinating bit of the evening.

Luckily didn't have too long to wait for a bus and was home just after 9.  Watched 'Fake or Fortune', rock memorabilia this week and then failed to see the Northern Lights, though J over the road did.  I think the street lights on my side mask it.

Ah well!
