Limestone Quarry 1872-1925

Just out of Mt Somers Township, on the road to Erehwon and Lake Heron, you pass a turn off into a paddock. You cross a bridge and in the distance is a little Stone Cottage and other relics from when the area was a working Limestone Quarry. I hope you can read the history of this small but profitable gem.
