Oh What A NIght!

I am so pleased to have captured the aurora today and yesterday. When I missed it in May I thought that was it. Never to be seen again in my lifetime.

I have an app which gives me accurate timings many times in the evenings so, having the camera settings and tripod set up, I waited up and went out into the garden again after midnight. 

The aurora was only just visible to the eye but the camera results were vivid and, at times, the whole sky seemed pink. (Extra). I don't know if the white part of this is the STEVE effect.
