are for the guidance of wise men and the slavish adherence of fools?

I spent the morning helping put up the boards for the art group's exhibition, and after they had set up the displays went back and photographed the boards.  I always find it ironic that the conversation about me photographing the boards usually takes place next to the signs forbidding photography and the artist retaining copyright. 

For the avoidance of doubt: they do ask me to do this and the artists are all ok with it!
