Lost in Thought

Sales! (EB)

An interesting day to say the least ....

Gill went off to the art exhibition and I set about editing the board photos from yesterday,  had a call from the surgery asking if I would be ok to have my Covid and Flu vacs earlier as they had cancellations, then a call from Gill to say she had been talking to a professional photographer just moved into the village offering to talk to the photo club :-)
So I met up with Amy Haynes who is a self taught automotive photographer and her husband who restores old Jaguars (he does other cars too!) and her parents, and her baby son! I can see this being a very interesting presentation.
Her web site is: https://amyshorephotography.com/  well worth a look.

Then - Gill explained she had three sales - the wren on a rusty bolt, the collage of the sea, and the lino print of the boat - they all appear in yesterdays blip of her board.

Covid & Flu vacs for both of us - my arms are ok, Gill's have something to say about it.

A trip to Waitrose ... on a Saturday afternoon - what were we thinking?
Gill's phone rings ... from the exhibition - that lino cut of the boat - any more copies?  Someone wants to send one as a gift.  So she's found out two of the other originals, and used the last of the mount card so they can have a choice - she'll see them tomorrow.

Might have a celebratory glass of something this evening :-)
