Cotswold hike.

Harriet the Roister and I seized the day. "Dad, what about a walk? Sun's up, lets get out" she said. Being a Stratford Rambler it fell to me to choose the route. Ilmington, on the northern arm of the Cotswolds, is 3 miles south of us so it seemed the obvious choice. A steep climb up Ilmington hill at the start of the walk rewarded the effort with uplifting views over Warwickshire. Its a walk I've done 4 times and I knew the views would be excellent on this cloudless day.

Doesn't particularly make for an arresting photo maybe, but will serve to remind me of a day we walked on air over an English countryside that for this day had no peer.
