Poetry
It was a relief to return the heart-rate equipment to the hospital this morning, I'll be getting an answer within two weeks, they said. Good.
In the evening I was working at the theatre, a performance I would gladly have paid for if I wasn't working. Bruno K Öijer, a poetry legend, born in 1951, who published his first poetry in 1973. He's famous, by poetry lovers, for his colourful language, and his personal reading technique transmitting images to the listener. He reads all his poetry by heart, like a concert, with amazing presence, his audience listens super concentrated to every word and gives huge applause after each poem. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like this, he's the Dylan or Keith Richards of poetry, loved by his fans, ridiculed by his opponents. The show was two hours long, with a short break, I loved all of it myself, the first time I've got to hear him live. Heres a trailer for his present tour, all in Swedish but I think you can see what I mean. The blip is from the second balcony. very poetic.
