on and off all day ... but boy, it's chilly. Feels like we've been having autumn temperatures since .... well last autumn! I
In the greenhouse the sunshine is warm enough to open the flowers on various bulbs that are in flower at the moment. This Oxalis lobata, from South Africa, is a glorious sunny yellow, appropriate for a sunny day.
I had a bit of a lie in after my very late night aurora gazing - Big Thanks for all the gifts left for yesterday's blip - but with the guys turning up at 9 to continue work on installing a strong fence in place of the old wall, it wasn't going to last long. Various chores and family related admin jobs seem to have used up a fair bit of the day but I found some time to work on the last of the bulb repotting which should be finished this weekend.
Meg and I had a walk and a run in the ball field at Rhydyronen in the middle of the day - the warmest bit and later I cooked a very tasty lasagne for my tea and a lemon drizzle cake which will last a few days. This too was delicious, the first slice enjoyed still warm :-)
Episode 3 of Ludwig online with Ruth tonight. Curiouser and curiouser. Nodding off now which is a clue to what ought to happen next.
