The blue boat

Another trip to Hebden Bridge. We parked in the pub car park, and booked a table in the pub for later as MrM had arranged to meet friends there for a meal. Then a walk along the towpath towards Todmorden. We had an hour to spare, so after 30 minutes we turned to walk back. At that point, the heavens opened, providing MrM with an opportunity to test his new waterproof jacket. Happy to report that it passed with flying colours! Luckily I was wearing a waterproof too.

It was a pleasant walk all the same, with some glorious autumn colours along the way (extra). We didn't walk as far as the blue boat, but turned when we reached the bridge in the Blip.

After a pleasant meal with friends, we all went to another pub in the centre of Hebden for the music session.
