An Arrangement Of Shapes
I saw the leaf first, because of the extreme contrast of orange against the blue water. The water was only deep blue at a certain angle. However, on its own it was a bit too minimalist for me.
The rocks and their reflections registered with me next and I was impressed by their forms and roundness and how heavy they looked. The water levels are low due to how little rain we've had.
The leaf made it into the image and now occupied the otherwise empty corner of the frame, which satisfied me. And to cap it off there were two more leaves for it to relate to.
Extra: Not White Yet. An immature white-crowned sparrow.
