Newhailes House

The '2nd Saturday' of October, and our local walking-group headed out from the City Centre towards East Lothian, and Newhailes House - weather was a bit mixed, but we were very lucky to enjoy an entirely dry, lunch-stop :-)

Main snap is taken from the front of the 17th Century House, which was our final destination-point; 1st extra shows the 'SUSTRANS Millennium Milepost' on Middle Meadow Walk, were we commenced our stroll; 2nd extra is a view of the 'Donkeyfield Orchard', were we had our lunch-stop.

After a warming-drink, at the 'Stables Cafe', a Lothian Bus No.30 whisked us all back to the City Centre :-)
