The colours in the vineyards are starting to turn. Today started sunny, but soon the cloud cover was back. B and I went for our walk anyway - it was dry and pleasant enough, and we hadn‘t had the chance for a walk for two weeks. So we both enjoyed catching up, while being out and about.
In the extra: An ambulance helicopter landing behind the houses opposite of us, possibly for the last time. The hospital has finally moved into its new buildings (about four years later than planned). Its new helipad is located directly above the emergency room on the roof, and the old helipad close to our street will go out of use any day now.
On the plus side, we won’t have helicopters flying quite as low over our house anymore. But as soon as the old helipad is obsolete, the hospital will clear the space to build several residential blocks. The plan is to create 170 flats for their employees there, so we‘re expecting many months of noise and dust from a huge building site, starting soon.
