Dappled light

A lovely autumn day ..... chilly but the sun was shining!

We had a lovely wander 'up the road' .... went up onto the river bank further up river than usual & saw a group of Cormorants sunning themselves (Extra).

We were pleased to see some Lapwing flying by .... also a Pied Wagtail & the male Kestrel. There were quite a few small birds about all enjoying the sunshine :-)

I wanted to blip 'something different' so I chose these leaves lit by a shaft of sunlight.
