Gone Fishing

An afternoon of two halves! It was competition day for camera club where we meet up at a given location, shoot for two hours then download X number of images straight from the camera to a laptop and then they’ll be judged on Tuesday evening by the club members. Meeting time was 1pm…it was persisting down (see extra of the view when I parked my car!), I was drookit when I found some of the others already congregated in the Granary on the other side of the river. The men set off shortly afterwards but us women had a cuppa and catch up before going out…by the time we went out the sun was shining and I spent a pleasant hour wandering the quayside and walls before heading back to the Granary for another cuppa and chat with a couple of the guys. Tea’s in the oven and then I need to put my glad rags on as I’m out to the theatre this evening to see Christopher Biggins who’s on for the Literary Festival…I’ll watch Strictly on catch up later tonight!
