Mull day 2

There was a car rally here overnight. I woke at 1230am to the sound of roaring cars as they headed home after their 'rally' at a different part of the island. It was lashing with rain so I did not see any of the wonderful aurora sightings seen by others in the various parts of the country!
Today we had a lazy start but after lunch went for a ride towards Iona hoping to get the ferry across to go and view the Abbey.  It was blowing a hoolie and lashing it down so we opted out of a stroll on Iona and headed back inland.  We saw many rainbows among the numerous downfalls. Like the view across this loch in extra.  Eventually gave in and headed for the cottage  - nice cuppa in the warm and dry!
