Today's been a much more normal day thank goodness. I don't think I'll be having covid and flu jabs on the same day again. I haven't been out except to feed the birds and just as well. Round about lunch time there was a quick flash of light and a roar that sounded like a house being hit by a bomb.  A very brief but startling thunderstorm followed immediately by heavy rain.
